Sites collect food for hunger project

Baby It’s You, located at 3727 Riverdale Ave.. has started collecting bottles and cartons of baby food, canned formula, and baby cereals to be donated to the Kingsbridge-Riverdale- MarbleHill Food and Hunger Project to help needy families with infants and toddlers.
Wachovia Bank, located at 3709 Riverdale Ave., has been a collection site for the hunger project for several years, and collects canned goods and boxed foods.
Healthy soups, proteins, beans, vegetables, fruits, rice, pasta, tomato sauce and healthy cereals are most needed.
