Members meet

Riverdale Senior Services, 2600 Netherland Ave., is holding its annual membership meeting at 6 p.m.

At the meeting the board of directors will be elected, the president will present the annual report and awards will be given out. The awards include the Community Partnership Award, which will be presented to the Cornell Institute for Transitional Research on Aging, and special recognition will be given to former RSS director and past board president Barbara Miller.

The public is invited and validated parking tickets will be available.

Greenway project

The Hudson River Valley Greenway Link TAC will meet from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Inwood branch of the New York Public Library, 4790 Broadway.

The group will discuss a range of issues related to the project.

Book talk

Conservative Synagogue Adath Israel of Riverdale, located at 475 W. 250th St., will host a talk by Hasia R. Diner about her new book, We Remember with Reverence and Love — American Jews and the Myth of Silence After the Holocaust, 1945-1962, at 7:45 p.m.

The book is an examination of the ways American Jews paid tribute to the Holocaust.

Adult reading

The Spuyten Duyvil Library, located at 650 W. 235th St., will host its adult reading club at 11 a.m.

Participants are invited to come share their reading experiences with other readers.

Registration is not required and the program is free and open to the public.
