Sunlight and style fill apartment at one of Riverdale's best addresses

Home of the week

The Whitehall, at 3333 Henry Hudson Parkway, has represented the top end of luxury in the Riverdale/Kingsbridge area for decades. Stars for the New York Yankees and other teams have made their home in the building, along with actors, writers and the simply well-heeled.

While more recent developments may rival the Whitehall in certain amenities, none can offer the breadth or depth that comes with an apartment in this building.

Apartment 7W is the largest Junior-4 in the entire building, with three and a half rooms. It gets bright sunlight through windows in each room, and offers a dining area that can also be used for a den.

The kitchen has been completely renovated, with new appliances, cabinets, counter space and storage. It’s an eat-in kitchen and also offers a pass-through.

Closet space, so often at a premium in New York, is generously supplied here, with nine closets in the unit. The den has one, and the master bedroom has the granddaddy of them all: an enormous double walk-in closet.

The bathroom has been updated in marble.

The building boasts a 24-hour attended lobby, a doorman, a year-round heated pool, a fitness club, laundry rooms, a ballroom and the management is on premises to answer any questions or complaints.

The unit is exclusively represented by Eugenia Foxworth of Foxworth Realty. The maintenance is $1108 and the asking price is $420,000.
