WAVE HILL, located at West 249th Street and Independence Avenue, will host its next Family Art Project on Saturday and Sunday, June 20 and 21, from 1 to 4 p.m., in the Kerlin Learning Center. During this weekend’s Father’s Day-themed activity, titled “A Nest for Daddy,” guests will first take a tour of the Sunroom Project Space to view Janelle Iglesias’ installation, which is based on the elaborate nests that papa bower birds build. Then, participants will join artist Jin Kim in using gathered and recycled materials to build a fantastic nest construction for their own fathers. THE RIVERDALE Library, at 5540 Mosholu Ave., presents the following upcoming programs for kids:
- Baby Story Time, a special program for infants up to 18 months old, will be held on Thursdays, June 18 and 25, at 10:30 a.m. Babies and their parents can enjoy great books, as well as lively songs and fun rhymes.
- The library presents Toddler Story Time, for children, between 18 months and 3 years old, on Tuesday, June 23, at 10:30 a.m. During this program, participants will enjoy interactive stories, action songs and finger plays, while interacting with other toddlers in the neighborhood.

THE KINGSBRIDGE Library, at 280 W. 231st St., will host these upcoming events for kids:
- Reading Aloud, for children ages 5 to 12, will be held on Thursdays, June 18 and 25, at 4 p.m.
- On Friday, June 19, at 3:30 p.m., the library will host a Father’s Day-themed arts and crafts program, for ages 5 to 12. Space is limited and advance registration is required.

THE SPUYTEN Duyvil Library, at 650 W. 235th St., will hold the following children’s programs during the upcoming week:
- The library will hold Toddler Story Time, for children between the ages of 18 months and 3 years old, on Thursdays, June 18 and 25, at 10:30 a.m. During this program, participants can enjoy stories, songs and finger plays, while interacting with other toddlers. Tickets will be distributed before the program.
- Baby Story Time, a special program for newborns up to 18 months old, will be held on Tuesday, June 23, at 11 a.m. Babies and their parents can enjoy great books, as well as lively songs and fun rhymes, while meeting other babies from the local neighborhood. Space is limited and tickets must be picked up upon arrival.
- The library will host Reading Aloud, for ages 6 to 10, on Wednesday, June 24, at 4 p.m. Both events are open to the public, free of charge. For more information or to register, call 718-796-1202.
THE BRONX Library Center, located at 310 E. Kingsbridge Road, will host the following activities for children this week:
- The center will present Game Day, for kids ages 5 to 12, on Friday, June 19, at 4 p.m. Participants will have the chance to play a variety of board games, including Connect 4, Uno, Checkers and Monopoly Jr., with other children and library staff members.
- On Thursday, June 25, at 4 p.m., the center will host “Eric Carle Craft,” a special interactive art program for ages 7 to 12. Space is limited and pre-registration is required.
