Who is running? Mr Dinowitz? Mr Cohen? I think the voters are confused. Speaking truths doesnt make a candidate nasty. Does Mr Dinowitz think that Mr Stanton would back down simply because he is asked to? I think Mr Stanton is calling Mr Dinowitz on his behavior. Specifically, that he has been acting as Mr Cohen's campaign manager, rather than as the assemblyman. It appears from all the joint photo-ops with mr Cohen, that Mr Dinowitz has used his office and the public's money to run Mr Cohen's campaign. Telling the truth may be an unpopular tactic, and certainly ruffle one's feathers, but it is by no stretch nasty. It calls a spade a spade. The real nasty are the politicians who are seemingly oblivious to the subjective character assasination style reporting that is the Review. As our assemblyman, Mr Dinowitz has failed to care about the Review's relentless. character assassinations of our local principals, parents associations, and community activists. He is not stood up for the principles of right and wrong. Mr. Stanton was the only one to confront the Review. This got him in more hot water, and certainly nobody wants to be attacked by the Review, but he didnt back down. Mr. Stanton is extremely hard working and extremely committed to the children of the district, to the small business owners, and to the maintenance of our natural world from overzealous and politically connected development. And he stands on his own two feet. Can Mr Cohen say that? Or does he need to run it by Mr Dinowitz?
