RYSEC has a pivotal role to play for all those who wish to take principled action to help make our world a more just and sustainable one. With Ms. Lewis at the helm, joined by Elizabeth Collier as Director of Community Outreach, RYSEC has vigorous new leadership that is deeply thoughtful, and committed to helping members develop community through both discussion and action. Bronx Climate Justice North, the first climate justice organization in the N. Bronx, came into existence with the direct help and support of RYSEC and its members. We're excited to be working with Ms. Lewis in charting community action on food justice, a just transition to a renewable energy economy, support for racial and economic justice in our borough, and broader and deeper action to achieve a safe and sustainable climate. RYSEC is a warm and welcoming place, as is its new Ethics for Children program under the leadership of Je Hooper, Director of Family Programs.
