I should say, it was a mistake for DOT to say that the Broadway plan makes Westchester Bike trails more accessible. The Bronx is not responsible for doing that. That would not move the CB. This plan needs to be viewed as the first leg of a buildout toward the west, not the north, and solely to make it easier and safer to move around Riverdale neighborhoods on a bike while at the same time, easing congestion, by making car-driving less necessary.
