2 toddlers die at Amalgamated

Police are piecing together what happened to two young children who died overnight after being found unconscious in their Van Cortlandt Park South home.

A 911 call first responders to the Amalgamated a little after 1 a.m., July 10 with a report that two "aided children" were having difficulty breathing. There paramedics found Olivia Gee, 2, and Micha Gee, 3, both unconscious and unresponsive.

The toddlers were rushed to Montefiore Medical Center where both later died. 

Police have provided little other details at this point, but say they are still investigating.
