A letter to Menuhin Hart

Posted

Dear Mr. Hart:

It was with great sorrow that we read that you, a Riverdale resident, were the victim of racial discrimination in Riverdale including graffiti being scrawled twice on your truck.  No one should suffer such indignities and everyone should be free to live where they choose.

We hope you will reconsider and give Riverdale another chance. Although Riverdale is thought of as a white enclave, in fact, it is a very diverse community and is home to different races, cultures and religions. Unfortunately, there are some truly bad people who just cannot accept that that diversity is good for society.  I hope that the police arrest and prosecute the culprits.
