AmPark School holds Election Day bake sale

If the prospect of doing your democratic duty isn’t enough to draw you to the polls next Tuesday, the AmPark Neighborhood School Fifth Grade Committee is offering a little sweetener.
From 7:45 a.m. unitl 6 p.m., or until they’re sold out, parents at the school are offering freshly baked cookies, cakes and pies, savory soups, homemade entrees and hot and cold beverages.
All of the proceeds will be used to support the fifth grade graduating class of 2015.
The school, located at 3961 Hillman Avenue, is a polling place.
The committee is still looking for a few more volunteers to help bake, make or donate something to sell.
