Blustery weather couldn’t dampen the spirits of the marchers or their parents and friends at the Annual North/South Riverdale Little League Parade on Saturday. They trekked from Kelly Field, down Mosholu Avenue and to Sid Augarten Field.
Still, inclement weather canceled many games the past week.
South Riverdale Minors:
Highlander Corporation 9, Dwell Family Doctors 3: Ethan Drummond had a pair of hits, including a triple, and Yadin Isaacs and Lucas Muhlstein added a hit apiece to pace the offense. Marcus Cooper Leary pitched the first 4 1/3 innings, holding the Outlaws to three runs to earn the win. Dante Marinacci closed out the win for the Highlanders with 1 2/3 innings of stellar relief.
