Child Victims Act can take abusers off the streets

To the Editor: 

Thank you for another powerfully-written, professionally-reported article about Senator Jeff Klein’s position on the Child Victims Act. 

I had tears running down my face as I read it. If our suffering at Horace Mann leads to a change in the law that protects other children in the future, that will mean A LOT to me. 

I long to see the still-living abusers taken off the streets (and – in some cases – out of the schools where they still teach), so they can never do to another child what they did to us.
