On Sunday, December 9, 2012, The Woodlawn Cemetery will host a free holiday concert entitled “400 Years of Music,” featuring classical music performed by The Bardekova Ensemble. Lead by Founder, Director and oboist Ellen Bardekoff, the Ensemble performs a medley of holiday music from classical compositions to contemporary favorites. All are invited to enjoy this afternoon of music; concert begins at 2PM in the Woolworth Chapel. Reservations are encouraged though not required.
This free performance is made possible with the support of the Bronx Council on the Arts, the New York State Council on the Arts, the NYC Dept. of Cultural Affairs, the Greater NY Arts Development Fund, The Music Performance Trust Fund, the Bronx Delegation of the NYC City Council, and through private donations.
