Tot Shabbat

Congregation Tehillah will host a monthly Sabbath service from 5:15 to 6 p.m. at the Riverdale- Yonkers Society for Ethical Culture, 4450 Fieldston Road, for preschoolers and their parents or care providers.

Educational Director Beth Miller will lead the event, which includes singing and blessings, dancing, creative movement and candle lighting.

Sabbath services follow at 6:30 p.m., led by Rabbi Linda Shriner-Cahn.

Piano music

Pianist Marilynn Seits and singer Nancy Parish will perform a selection of songs from the Great American Songbook at the Riverdale YM-YWHA’s Harry and Dora Simon Senior Center, located at 5625 Arlington Ave., at 10:30 a.m.

The duo will perform the work of George Gershwin, Rogers & Hart and Rogers & Hammerstein, among others.
