1. Police said after an attendant at the Lukoil gas station at 6571 Broadway confronted a customer who refused to pay at 7:50 a.m. on May 27, the customer punched the attendant in the face.

The assailant then jumped into his silver vehicle and peeled out of the gas station lot. The gas pump nozzle was still in the man’s fuel tank, police said, causing the hose to be torn out of the pump.

Damages for the stolen gas and broken hose were about $300, authorities said. The robbery case remains open to detectives.

Police said that the man, whose vehicle had Virginia license plates, may be identified from closed-circuit television camera footage captured at the location.

2. Motorcycle stolen

Police said a black 2006 Suzuki motorcycle parked in front of 3436 Bailey Ave., next to the Bailey Playground, was stolen last week.

The motorcycle owner, 30, parked his vehicle at 9:10 p.m. on May 28. When he returned at 5:30 a.m. the next day, the motorcycle was nowhere to be found.

Police closed the case after placing the vehicle on an interstate stolen vehicles registry.

3. Convertible raided

Police said about $240 in goods was stolen from a 24-year-old man’s black 2007 Audi sedan parked near Palisade and Edsall avenues last week, by a thief who used a knife to access the soft-top convertible.

The victim parked his vehicle at the Spuyten Duyvil location at 10 p.m. on May 26, police said. When he returned at 8 a.m. the next day, the vehicle’s roof was punctured by slash marks. Two pairs of Ray-Ban sunglasses worth a total of $220 and a cell phone charger valued at $20 had been taken from the vehicle.

The petit larceny case remains open to detectives, police said.

4. Thieves strike in the night

At 10:30 p.m. on May 27, a 51-year-old woman retired to bed in her Kingsbridge apartment. Upon waking the next day, she discovered that valuable electronics had been taken from the residence, according to authorities.

Two Apple desktop computers, worth $1,500 and $1,200, respectively, were stolen along with an iPhone 5 valued at $250. A charger worth $30 was also taken, police said.
