THE BARTOW-PELL Mansion Museum, located at 895 Shore Road, in Pelham Bay Park, will host the second annual “Take Me Out to the Ball Game: 1864,” on Saturday, June 20, from noon to 2:30 p.m. During this special program, visitors can witness the origins of America’s pastime, as a real 19th-century baseball game will be played between the New York Mutuals and the Knickerbockers, under the rules used back in 1864. Following the contest, the players will stay around to play a game of “Rounders” with children and dads from the audience. In addition, the day will feature other activities, including free tours of the mansion and carriage house, as well as a raffle to win a signed vintage replica game ball. There will also be complimentary popcorn and water for all guests to enjoy. Tickets to this event cost $15 for adults, $10 for ages 6 to 17 and free for ages 5 and younger. The mansion is located at 895 Shore Road, in Pelham Bay Park. For more information, call 718-885-1461.
