THE VAN Cortlandt House Museum, located at Broadway and West 246th Street, presents “Dutch, Not Much,” a special lecture and tour with museum director Laura Carpenter, on Saturday, Nov. 14, at 2 p.m. During this event, visitors will learn how the Van Cortlandt family’s Dutch heritage was incorporated into their English Georgian-style manor house. Tickets cost $10 per person and this fee includes the lecture, tour and refreshments. Reservations are recommended. For more information, call 718-543-3344.

BERNIE’S NEW York presents “Museums, Societies and Clubs,” a public walking tour of Manhattan’s Upper East Side, on Sunday, Nov. 15, at 2 p.m. During this special event, visitors will discover the Upper East Side that few people know about, including stops at the former home of Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt, the Explorer’s Club, the Frick Museum, the Asia Society, the Knickerbocker Club and more.
