Man stabbed

1.A 30-year-old man was stabbed while trying to break up a fight in the 4680 block of Manhattan College Parkway on Sunday, police said. He was slashed multiple times in his face, chest, and right forearm, but did not suffer life-threatening injuries. Police are looking for between one and three men involved in the stabbing.

2. Stabbed during fight

Police arrested two teens allegedly involved in the stabbing of a 21-year-old man near West 228th Street and Marble Hill Avenue on Friday. The victim, who resides in Manhattan, was allegedly attacked by the teens, ages 15 and 17, shortly after 7 p.m. They were charged with gang assault.

3. Domestic assault

A man struck his girlfriend in the head with a bag containing a bottle following a verbal dispute they had on June 17, police said. The assault happened at a residence in the 3130 block of Godwin Terrace. The victim, 43, suffered cuts and bruises. The alleged attacker, 33, was arrested.

4. Gun arrest

Police arrested a man on charges of possessing a .380 caliber pistol after they stopped his vehicle in the 6140 block of Broadway on June 17. The 28-year-old man, who resides in Poughkeepsie, was sitting in a double-parked car with its engine running when police made the traffic stop about 5 p.m.

5. Graffiti arrests

Two men were arrested June 18 for allegedly tagging up two properties with graffiti. Police caught the men, ages 20 and 35, after they had allegedly just painted the word “blast” on a building in the 3000 block of Albany Crescent. Police say they also tagged a property on Heath Avenue. Both men are from Manhattan.

6. Jewelry swiped

A man who parked his 2008 Honda Civic in the 2530 block of Independence Avenue on June 14 returned hours later to find his driver’s side window smashed and several expensive items missing, including a Movado watch worth $1,000. Also taken were two rings worth $1,000 each, credit cards, and an iPod. The smash-and-grab perpetrator has not been found.

7. Sidekick stolen

Two teens were arrested for allegedly swiping a T-Mobile Sidekick device from a man near Godwin terrace and West 230th Street on Friday about 12:30 p.m. The teens, ages 14 and 17, are accused of grabbing the device from the man and trying to flee. Both teens are from the Bronx.
