Shootings break out during K’bridge fight

Police said they arrested a 24-year-old man in connection with a May 26 shooting in front of 3017 Kingsbridge Terrace.

The incident occurred at 10:30 p.m. when, according to police, James Gambra opened fire on another male of unknown age who had punched him in the face earlier that night.

In retaliation, the second male also opened fire, allegedly striking Mr. Gambra and his 34-year-old girlfriend in the right ankle and left calf, respectively.

Police said it remains unclear how many rounds were fired, or if any others were struck during the shooting.

Police are still searching for the second shooter, but they said they have very little information about him.
