South Riverdale Little League, seniors division

Romy Rebels 15, Nona’s Pizza Yankees 11 – The Rebels jumped out to a 7-0 lead with four runs coming on Conor Cagney’s grand slam, while the trio of Alex Acosta, Josh Kenny and Rory Naughton combined for eight hits and four runs scored while Brandon Vargas stroked two doubles and knocked in four runs. The Yankees got a combined six hits, five runs and five RBI from the trio of Ryan Connaire, Richie Thomas and Liam Coffey in the loss.
