As part of the 2009 Tribeca Film Festival's opening weekend, the public is invited to attend a special series of three outdoor movie screenings, on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, April 23, 24 and 25.

For the first night, Thursday, April 23, Tribeca will show the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to celebrate 25 years of "Turtle Power." In addition to the screening, the ninja turtles will make a guest appearance to take part in a giant pizza party, audience members can climb inside the turtles' new party bus, get their face painted, take pictures at the photo booth and learn new moves at a martial arts demonstration.

On Friday, April 24, there will be a special 40th anniversary screening of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and the final night, Saturday, April 25, will feature the new documentary film, P-Star Rising, which chronicles the inspirational climb to fame of talented young rapper P-Star.

The Tribeca Drive-In will be held at the World Financial Center Plaza's North Cove, 200 Vesey St., between the Westside Highway and the Hudson River.

Admission is free and doors open at 6 p.m. each night, with seating available on a firstcome, first-served basis. Activities begin at 6:30 p.m. and films start shortly after 8 p.m.
