Vocal ensemble

The Hudson River Museum, located at 511 Warburton Ave., Yonkers, NY 10701, will host “Sing We Enchanted,” a Westchester- based vocal ensemble, from 1:30 to 3 p.m.

The group will celebrate Henry Hudson with songs of rivers, streams and the sea.

Admission to programs for seniors 62 and older is $3 unless otherwise noted. Members are admitted free and free refreshments follow every program.

Sunset poetry

Wave Hill, located at West 249th Street and Independence Avenue, will host a “Sunset Poetry” writing workshop from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

This first session in the fourpart series is entitled “At the Intersection of Urban and Rural: Writing from our Surroundings.”

Participants will engage with the landscape, generate new poems and take part in poetic play with poet Rachel M. Simon. Both beginning and experienced writers are welcome.

The fee for all four sessions is $90 for members; $125 for nonmembers. Single sessions cost $25 for members; $35 for nonmembers. The series continues on Wednesdays July 8, July 15 and July 29.
