Another big cookie sales girl

(re: “Girl Scout leads Bronx with 1,000 cookie boxes sold,” June 15)

We at North Riverdale Girl Scout Troop 1477 would like to extend our sincere commendations to Girl Scout Kamdyn Rouse for her impressive cookie sales tally. Her hard work and dedication are surely things to be admired.

However, we would like to acknowledge one of our own. Senior Girl Scout Marieteresa Porcher Allen, who sold an incredible 1,086 boxes of cookies this year.

Like Kamdyn, her extraordinary efforts have proven her an asset and inspiration to her fellow scouts and local community. We could not be more proud of Marieteresa’s momentous achievement and exemplary commitment, and so we wanted to share her story in order to show our appreciation, and offer her the congratulations we feel is due.
