More students than ever from city schools are finding their way into college.
A new report from the city’s education department shows 57 percent of the Class of 2016 is attending some sort of post-secondary education, according to schools chancellor Carmen Fariña.
That number drops a little in the Bronx to 49 percent, but that’s still up 3 percent from last year.

Harcsztark’s SAR work was praised for being a national model for Jewish education. Recipients each received $36,000, with SAR getting a $5,000 donation, according to the release.
