Is It a Reading Spell or Entertainment That Is Taking Over Class 402?

Is a reading spell real? Well Class 402 believes so. Everyday they’re under a spell which makes them read. At least it’s like a spell. Or is it entertainment?

Class 402, during the end of May started DEAR time. DEAR stands for Drop Everything And Read. Students had to pick a book they thought was interesting (but they never read before) and read it for DEAR time. For them, DEAR time was a time when everybody read no matter what. Students get so interested in their books during DEAR time that they wouldn’t even pay attention to a leprechaun in their classroom!
