1. The “elegantly etched chandeliers and sconces” of Raine Lounge “create and set the mood of a rustic Moroccan Castle,” according to the venue’s website. But at 3:51 a.m. on March 28, things turned ugly for one 24-year-old who was shot in the stomach.

Police said that the victim became upset when he saw his girlfriend dancing with other men inside the 170 W. 233rd St. club. After an altercation with one of them, the 24-year-old was shot in the right side of his torso. He was removed to St. Barnabas, where he was reported to be in stable condition.

Police said that detectives plan to use footage from closed-circuit television cameras inside the club to identify the shooter.

The felony assault case remains open to detectives.

2. Dog-walking thief

Police said on April 9, a thief walking a dog pilfered two cars in Riverdale before officers identified him.

After testing door handles along Broadway around 1 p.m., the 43-year-old found his first target in a black 2002 GMC Envoy parked outside Lloyd’s Carrot Cake at 6087 Broadway. He reportedly hopped into the driver’s seat and pulled the dog in with him before pocketing a black Samsung Galaxy phone worth $199, a blue Apple iPod worth $150, a $250 pair of sunglasses, two cell phone chargers worth $40, a stereo remote worth $50, gloves worth $10 and a black pen.

About an hour later, the suspect spied a second target in an unlocked red 2001 Econoline van parked at the corner of the Major Deegan Expressway and West 234th Street. As before, he opened the door and pulled the dog in after him, this time grabbing an $11 multi-color phone charger. But by this time, police had spotted him in the act. When he tried to leave the scene, he was searched, found to possess stolen goods from both sites and taken to the precinct to face larceny charges.

Police could not confirm the fate of the dog.

3. Laundry cash box busted

Authorities said that on April 7 at 2:45 p.m., three unidentified men entered the lobby of 2865 Kingsbridge Terrace, brazenly spray-painted a surveillance camera and then moved to the laundry room, where they stole an unspecified amount of money from a laundry machine cash box.

A supervisor at the building reported the burglary but could not provide details about the criminals. Photographs of one of the wanted men, distributed by police, show him in a hooded sweatshirt the moment before the camera lens was covered in paint.

The burglary case remains open to detectives.

4. Young man assaults elder

Police said at 10:22 a.m. on April 7, a 66-year-old man seated on a parking garage bench at the corner of West 234th Street and Broadway was assaulted by a male 39 years his junior.

The 27-year-old perpetrator kicked, punched and beat the 66-year-old with the wooden handle of a broom, causing “visible pain and injury,” according to a report. After fleeing the area, the 27-year-old was arrested at 11:03 a.m. on charges of felony assault.

5. Jaguar lost, then found

A green 2007 Jaguar XK, valued at $25,000, vanished from a parking space at the rear of 6299 Broadway between 7:30 p.m. on April 10 and 10:30 a.m. on April 11, police said. A preliminary canvas in the 50th Precinct turned up no leads, but less than one day later, the car was rediscovered more than nine miles away by police in Pelham Manor.

It was not clear whether criminals took the vehicle for a joy ride or how else the car might have been moved.
