O’Malley School officially dedicated

The Manhattan College O’Malley School of Business is making it official.

On Tuesday, the business school was dedicated in honor of Thomas O’Malley, a member of Manhattan College’s Class of 1963.

Last March, O’Malley and wife Mary Alice pledged $25 million to the school, earmarked to increase scholarships, grants, research opportunities and teaching tools while still contributing to the overall learning at Manhattan College.

Over the past 20 years, the couple has donated $10 million toward the construction of the Raymond W. Kelly ‘63 Student Commons, which was named after O’Malley’s classmate.

O’Malley turned a small California oil refinery into one of the largest independent oil refineries and gasoline retailers in the country.
