Riverdale Youth Chorus is pleased to announce the launch of its inaugural season! RYC is a new children's chorus open to kids in 3rd through 9th grades without audition and to older kids by arrangement. (Older kids will sing while also learning about and assisting in choral conducting.). The program aims to strengthen participants’ music literacy, teach healthy vocal production, and expose kids to the joys and rewards of
choral singing and performance. Led by a Yale music graduate and professional choral instructor, RYC does not require an audition because we believe that virtually every child can sing on key, whether naturally or through proper training – and because choral singing is so much fun that all kids should have a chance to do it.
