Posted

A woman reportedly stole a purse from an 83-year-old while waiting for the bus on Sunday, police said.

It was the day after April 1, yet it seems the joke’s on the thief: The victim told police her purse had nothing of value inside.

The suspect, who was caught on camera, reportedly ran behind the elderly woman while waiting for the bus at West 231st Street and Broadway, snatched her purse, and knocked her to the ground.

The investigation is ongoing.
