Where are the Jewish channels?

Posted

To the editor:

Did you know that Verizon/FiOS offers no free Jewish channels, but supplies more than 12 free Christian ones?

I stopped counting at Channel 400, but there could be 100 free Christian channels.

If you want one of their two Jewish channels, you have to pay an extra $6 a month. I wrote and spoke to them, but they don’t see any discrimination.

Looks like anti-Semitism to me, don’t you think?

Cablevision offers one free Jewish channel, which they get free and pass on to their customers (Jewish Broadcasting Service, or JBS). Why can’t Verizon do this? They’ve got plenty of open channels.

You should let your readers know. This is a travesty.
