To the editor:

(re: “Why do myths get so much ink?” Oct. 19)

Thank you, Mr. Steve Siegelbaum, for your sanctimonious screed attacking Mr. Alvin Gordon. 

I generally pass over Mr. Gordon’s letters, but yours piqued my curiosity, and I examined Mr. Gordon’s piece very carefully. I was surprised Mr. Gordon was right on target, and in fact you, Mr. Siegelbaum, are guilty of fake news. So sad.

Just because former football player Colin Kaepernick claims no disrespect to the flag by kneeling during the national anthem does not change reality. 

I am also ashamed of Mr. Siegelbaum trying to dictate and refrain The Riverdale Press its freedom of the press.
