American Legion Post 1525 in the Bronx held a Memorial Day ceremony at the Bell Tower Monument in Riverdale Monday, May 29. The monument, at West 239th Street and Henry Hudson Parkway, was built in 1930 and has three large bronze  honor rolls commemorating residents of Kingsbridge, Spuyten Duyvil, and Riverdale who served in World War I and World War II. The ceremony was led by three past commanders of Post 1525:  Jim Campbell, Henry Pang, and James Rine. more
