Bowman looks to hire a veteran

Posted

U.S. Rep. Jamaal Bowman is looking for a veteran to join his congressional team as part of a two-year stint with the House of Representatives Wounded Warrior Fellowship Program.

Established more than a decade ago, the program provided wounded or disabled veterans an opportunity to work for a member of Congress.

The position is based out of Bowman’s Bronx and Westchester County offices with primary responsibilities in the areas of casework — especially with the veteran community — to help support legislation ad ensure communication with the office. No prior experience is necessary.

Those interested in applying have until Nov. 3 to do so, however. They can find the application online at CAO.house.gov/wounded-warrior.
