Buglisi Dance Theatre

Buglisi Dance Theatre celebrates its 26th year with a program of works by artistic director Jacqulyn Buglisi, company principal dancer Virginie Mecene, Ron De Jesus, and Meagan King. The evening will feature two world premieres by Ms. Buglisi: "The Moss Anthology: Variation#5," to a commissioned score by Jeff Beal, and"in the name of the fire, and the flame, and grace...jb" a solo for renowned principal dancer Blakeley White-McGuire," dedicated to all people suffering from the global refugee crises. Receiving its NY debut is Mecene's UNUM, Latin for "one," a trio that explores the idea that mankind comes from the same force of energy.
