Doodling perp rudely draws insult to injury

Somebody decided to not only steal the tires and rims off a car in the wee hours of the morning, they also decided to leave a calling card. It was something personal — the kind that normally wouldn’t be polite to share in a family newspaper.

They drew the male genitalia. Two, in fact.

A 45-year-old woman returned to her 2019 Honda Accord around 3 a.m., on July 7, parked on the 3400 block of Riverdale Avenue, to find that someone had taken the wheels off her ride. The perp drew depictions of male anatomy on the hood as a parting gift.

The tires and rims are valued at $1,400. Detectives are still searching for the thief and vandal.

Guy yanks vic’s chain

A young man decided to make like rapper Gucci Mane and pop off a chain.

An 18-year-old woman was minding her business at 6:30 a.m., July 13, on the 5500 block of Broadway when the man decided the gold necklace she was wearing would look better on him. “Now it’s mine,” he said as he took it from her, according to police.

The woman said the jewelry connoisseur swung a blue scalpel at her face, but thankfully missed.

Police valued the chain at $1,000. Detectives with the 50th Precinct are searching for the robber described as a black Hispanic man in his 20s, standing about 5-foot-5, and weighing 150 pounds.

Motorcycle thief is slow going

Some people are just so pushy.

A guy parked his 2019 Yamaha motorcycle on the 3800 block of Bailey Avenue on July 7, only to return around dinnertime to find his ride left without him.

Police say the victim got clear video of a man breaking the motorcycle’s steering lock and slowly pushing the blue bike north on Bailey.

Cops valued the Yamaha at $6,000.
