Israel isn't always right


To the editor:

(re: “Some real facts, and a little logic,” Oct. 17)

The fact that Hamas is not a saintly organization does not justify Israeli killings of unarmed, peaceful protestors.

So no, Richard Wilkins, pointing out this and other Israeli wrongdoing is not a smear. Equating all critics of Israel with Nazis is a smear.

My sympathies are for both the Israeli and Palestinian people. But those from the “Israel can do no wrong, and the Palestinians can do no right” crowd seem to have a problem with that.
