Keep our express bus

To the editor:

(re: “Huge crowd protests off-hour service cuts,” Nov. 21)

I attended the Nov. 18 town hall meeting regarding the proposed BxM1 and BxM2 express bus service reduction by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority.

I have contacted U.S. Rep. Eliot Engel and the MTA, among others.

Please continue to report on and fight this issue. I have lived here for 17 years and strongly object to the proposed reductions in service to the BxM1 and BxM2 express bus lines here in Riverdale.

These two bus lines are a critical part of life here, and reduction of them would cause major inconveniences to commuters like myself, and the elderly who live here.
