"Kosher Dinner Lady" Cooks with Atria Riverdale Culinary Director

Rachel Berger, "The Kosher Dinner Lady," along with Atria's Culinary Director, Nicholas Jones, demonstrated the preparation of a complete meal for Atria residents. As each course was prepared, Atria residents got to taste and comment on the dishes. The aromas of vegetable barley soup, baked quinoa burgers with parmesan cheese, glazed salmon and apple galette reminded everyone of being back in their kitchens, cooking for family and friends. Memories are wonderful and so was the meal – so much so that with all the tasting, very few residents made it to lunch!
