Kudos on bridge toll

This letter is one of commendation to Jeffrey Dinowitz on the addition of free Henry Hudson Bridge crossings to the otherwise odious congestion pricing plan.

How does this affect my life — and the environment — positively? One of my clients is the Castle Village complex just north of the George Washington Bridge. For years, I have driven down Broadway to avoid the toll. This takes a lot longer, and I’d imagine uses a lot more gas.

Now I will be able to cross the Henry Hudson Parkway bridge for free, saving me time and saving the environment the burden of the extra fumes. Win-win.

So thanks to Jeffrey Dinowitz for this very sensible change to the law.
