1. Woman punched, robbed at own front door

A woman was punched in the face by an unknown assailant and robbed of her purse outside her home in North Riverdale, police said.

The victim, 29, was walking into her home just east of Broadway and Van Conrtlandt Park around 1:25 p.m. on March 3, police said, when she was punched in the face as she reached the front door.

The perpetrator then grabbed her purse, which contained medication, and fled in an unknown direction, police said.

This case is open to detectives.

Elderly woman burglarized

2. An unknown perpetrator broke into and burglarized the apartment of a 94-year-old woman in the Marble Hill Houses last week, police said.

They said a New York City Housing employee informed the victim on March 2 that someone had broken in the front door of her apartment at 210 W. 230th St. and left it ajar.

When she went to check, she found that someone had taken a $200 flat screen TV from her home, police said.

This case is open to investigation.

Two grand larcenies just steps away

Police reported two thefts from cars just steps away from each other along the Henry Hudson Parkway.

3. The first incident occurred on the corner of the Henry Hudson Parkway and W. 235th Street, where a 67-year-old man parked his Toyota Rav 4 on Feb. 27.

When he returned the next day, police said, the driver’s side window had been smashed, and an iPhone 6 and a Stauer watch, worth together an estimated total of $1,400, had been stolen.

4. The following day, on March 1, a 35-year-old woman parked her 2016 Infiniti on the corner of W. 232nd Street and the Henry Hudson Parkway and returned to find items stolen.

The incident occurred between 1:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., police said.

The victim, however, had left her car door unlocked, police said.  When she returned, someone had taken her backpack along with some miscellaneous items.

Both cases are open to detectives.
