I am a Riverdale resident and would like my neighbors to know about a beautiful photography exhibit in Soho: "This Great Diverse City: How Should We See It? Contemporary Photographs of New York." It wil be shown through September 2011 at The Terrain Gallery, 141 Greene St., NYC, Wed-Fri 12 -5; Sat 12-4. Please post this exhibit in your "Arts" section of Things to Do. The annoucement can be read at http://www.terraingallery.org/NYC-PHOTO-SHOW-at-TERRAIN-2011.pdf.
I quote from it: "Through images in black and white and color, and comment by the photographers and others, this grand, historic city is shown as having `a oneness of quiet and tumult, profundities and mischief,' as Eli Siegel, founder of Aesthetic Realism, said in his talk What of New York and Poetry?"
Thank you,
