Police looking for two who mugged elderly man on Heath Avenue

Police say they're looking for two men they believe were involved in a robbery early Monday morning near Kingsbridge Heights.

A 74-year-old man was walking toward the corner of West 230th Street and Heath Avenue at 5:40 a.m., on May 6, when he was approached by two men, according to the 50th Precinct. One pulled out a black firearm and demanded, "Give me your money." One of them then punched the older man in the face, while the other grabbed his wallet and cell phone, before both running off.

The man was slightly injured, but refused medical attention. 

Polie are looking for two men, believed to be about 30 years old. One is described to be Hispanic, light complexion, 160 pounds, 5-foot-8 with long back hair in a ponytail. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, gray hooded winter jacket, gray sweatpants and black sneakers.

The second man is said to black, 180 pounds, bald, and about 5-foot-9. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, camouflage jacket, green skull cap, black sneakers and black sweatpants, with a white stripe down the side of the legs and a picture of a skull on the front left leg.
