Celebrating its 34th year of enriching and expanding the saxophone repertoire, the PRISM Quartet presents a fascinating program of world premieres by Rome Prize winner Nina C. Young and ‘the Andy Warhol of new music,’ Jacob TV. Come hear also new works by Emily Cooley and Francesca Hellerman, winners of PRISM’s inaugural Robert Capanna Commissioning Award and the PRISM/Walden School Commissioning Award, respectively. The East Coast premiere of Christopher Biggs’s “Surfaces and Essences” rounds out this adventurous concert experience.
