Private yoga instruction with personally designed classes for the student practitioner, novice or experienced yogi. Offering a range of Vinyasa flow, heart opening, energizing, detoxing, cleansing, rejuvenating, contemplative/spiritual practices of yoga in your home or in a small group. Emphasizing alignment, postures, balancing in varying styles designed to accommodate the individual student or the group.
Based on principles of Hatha, Iyengar, Jivamukti, Yin, and Ashtanga Yoga, Ilana is delighted to work with others and guide them on the mat with joy and generosity of spirit so they can leave class with a sense of renewal, physical strength, flexibility, energy, optimism, and a sense of clarity and peace.
The yoga studio is one of the few places where we allow ourselves a time in space to evolve and explore our potential for growth. Having a consistent yoga practice opens and strengthens the physical body, releases stress and promotes healing. Yoga helps cultivate mental and emotional balance, a sense of hope, serenity, inner health, physical strength and abundance in our lives.
Ilana Davidson has been practicing various styles of Yoga for 21 years. She discovered Yoga on her own while living in Germany and singing with the Stuttgart Opera. She continued her yoga education at the Iyengar Yoga Center in Amsterdam, NL for three years as well as receiving her 200 Hour RYS in New York.
Her participation in classes, workshops, yoga centers in Europe and in North American, in addition to her various teachers have inspired her to share the abundant benefits of yoga to her own classes and her private students.
