LETTERS TO THE EDITOR

Some are too greedy

I read about Roosevelt Spivey’s barbershop, which is facing a doubling of its rent.

The shop is apparently a bedrock of the community. The landlord is not responding to calls to negotiate.

I read about the 29-unit, five-story building, which will be built at the southern end of our lovely Brust Park.

Riverdale used to be a beautiful community. No more.

My Lakota brothers have a term for the greedy white man — wasichu, or translated as  “fat eaters.”

Enough said.
