Kudos to Mr. Charles Moerdler for opening up the discussion of the current virulent anti-Semitism afflicting our country today.

Too bad he conveniently left out the mention of two murderous rampages against Jews in the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh, and the Poway attack in California. In both cases, the culprits were inspired by the man in the White House. In both cases, the attackers were extreme radical right-wing American home grown terrorists.

In both cases, Jews were murdered because they were Jews.

Whatever offensive verbal sentiments Mr. Moerdler obliquely referred to in his Point of View pale in comparison to the murder of American Jews on American soil by radical right wing white home-grown thugs and terrorists.

If one is going to point out a problem, being selective and circumspect in their examples of the virulent plague the radical right has unleashed on American Jews, one is doing a great disservice.

To paraphrase the child’s rhyme, words and phrases hurt my bones, but murder really kills me.
