This is the end

To the editor:

“Oh what a tangled web we weave when we practice to deceive.”

So here we have Donald J. Trump being hoisted by his own petard. His lapdogs tried mightily to hide the information provided by the whistleblower from Congress, but their actions only provided the final nail in the coffin of Trump’s presidency.

He will be impeached, even if he’s not convicted in the Senate, because the GOP has lost its conscience. This impeachment will bring to light all the grievous things he has done to weaken America’s role in the world.

I hope the Democrats don’t become weak-kneed. They must ignore his bullying and lies, and keep their eyes on the ball.
