I would like to take this opportunity to thank The Riverdale Press for the recent story on the Riverdale Art Association. I thanked Raphael Lassauze for the skillful story she wrote about the artwork that the art association has presented during these challenging times.

Artists Diana Catz and Sharon Krinsky were highlighted in the story, but we also would like to give praise to Myra Joyce for her outstanding work as the producer of the virtual shows mentioned in the story.

I am very proud of the fact that we have such a great new board that works so well together. Our board members come with vast experience and knowledge, and we hope to continue the Riverdale Art Association toward a bold new path.

We have been successful in transitioning during the pandemic from our monthly board and membership meetings to our virtual Zoom meetings. And, of course, the exhibition videos have proven a great way to highlight the artwork that the group is doing while maintaining social distancing.

We are also looking forward to our third video exhibit coming up soon, “Art in a Time of Quarantine.”

The community is welcomed to join our membership and our virtual membership meetings.  To learn how, just visit us at RiverdaleArtAssociation.org to join us virtually for our membership meetings.

Thank you again for your interest in the Riverdale Art Association exhibits.
