Trump is nothing like Obama

To the editor:

I feel like I should express my opinion, which I am sure also is the opinion of millions of Americans.

If Obama was president now, his wife Michelle would be our incredible First Lady. She would be out there, trying to give the American people and the world encouragement and some hope during these unspeakable times — not unseen and unheard of like Melania Trump.

Recently, President Trump had the nerve to say at one of his briefings that The New York Times is all the news that is “unfit” to print, and also commented that CNN has the lowest ratings ever. CNN announced that evening that its ratings are higher than ever.

I am a born-and-bred New Yorker, and 73 years of age. I love my city and my country, and I am tired of Trump putting blame on everyone else and getting away with it. He has had three years in office to correct what he is constantly blaming Obama for. He doesn’t take responsibility for anything, and he is the consummate bully!

He is certainly not a leader like our dear Gov. Cuomo is.

I do hope you print this as a very concerned American, Riverdalian, and subscriber my whole life.
