A 26-year-old woman reported her car missing on July 14, according to police.

The woman and her boyfriend lent their black 2003 Honda Civic to the perpetrator, a 25-year-old man whom they both knew, in early June with the understanding they would get it back in several days.

However, the man has yet to return the vehicle, which he received from the couple in front of 135 W. Kingsbridge Road.

The case remains open to detectives.

2. Robbed for $20

Police said a 21-year-old Hispanic man was approached by two males who took $20 from him on July 15 at around 10:40 p.m.

The victim was on the corner of Claflin Avenue and West 197th Street when the perpetrators went up to him and forcibly removed the $20. They then ran away.

The suspects were described as African-American, one age 17, the other around 21.

The case is still open to detectives.

3. Stabbed in the back

Police are investigating an incident in which a 23-year-old Hispanic man was stabbed in the lower left back.

The stabbing occurred on July 18 at 4:20 p.m. in front of 2690 University Ave. The perpetrator, a 20-year-old Hispanic man, described as roughly 5-foot-4, approached the victim from behind and stabbed him in his lower left back for no apparent reason. The perpetrator then fled the scene.

The victim, under his own power, checked into North Central Bronx Hospital.

The case remains open to detectives.

4. Man punched and robbed

A 24-year-old Asian man was robbed and assaulted by two males on July 19, according to police.

The victim was standing in front of 2818 Heath Ave. at 3:45 p.m. when two Hispanic men, both 18 and both 5-foot-7, approached him with a gun and a knife and asked him to hand over his phone and money.

One of the perpetrators punched the victim in the mouth, taking cash and a phone with a total value of $320.

Police are still investigating the robbery.

5. Scooter missing

A 27-year-old man claims his green $4,500 Hooligan scooter was stolen, police said. 

After the man left the vehicle parked in front of his driveway on 116 W. 227th St., he realized it was missing on July 20 at 7 a.m.

Police said there were cameras at the location and they continue to investigate the case.
